Forever Entertainment and Storm Trident had announced last year that they would be remaking the first two Front Mission games, as well as bringing them worldwide to the Nintendo Switch. Years later, the first Front Mission would see a port to the Nintendo DS, which is the version that has finally received a western release. The first game started out as a Japanese Super Famicom release before getting versions for the WonderSwan Color and PS1.
